How do I get my medications refilled?

We do not take medication refill requests over the phone (except for controlled medications). Please contact your pharmacy for a refill request, and the pharmacy will either send an electronic request or fax over a request. Please allow our office 48 business hours on all refills. You may contact your pharmacy to check the status of the request. If it has been 48 business hours and the pharmacy hasn’t received the request, please call our office. For prompt refills on medications, please have your refill request ready at the time of your next visit.

How do I get in touch with a doctor after hours for an emergency?

Our calls are answered by Winchester Medical Center operators which allow you to contact our doctors after hours. Please call 540-536-8000 and ask to have the doctor on call paged. Please avoid after hour calls about problems that can be best handled during office hours when our staff and facilities are available.
